Bourne Named OCCAC Co-Volleyball Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) has named Edison State Community College freshman Brooklyn Bourne (Celina HS) the OCCAC Co-Volleyball Player of the Week for October 9–15, 2023.

Bourne and the Lady Chargers swept past Cuyahoga and Lakeland as Bourne picks up her second weekly conference award (also won on September 4) of the season. She was responsible for 4.33 points and 3.33 digs per set in the back-to-back sweeps. The outside hitter connected at a rate of .296 (22-6-54).

The Lady Chargers are currently 20-5 overall and 7-2 in the conference.
