Schaub Earns Third OCCAC Weekly Honor
The OCCAC has named Edison State freshman Audra Schaub the NJCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for January 13-19, 2020.
The Ohio Community College Athletic Association (OCCAC) has named Edison State Community College freshman Audra Schaub (Wapakoneta HS) the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Women's Basketball Player of the Week for January 13-19, 2020.
Audra Schaub lifted the Chargers to a 3-0 week en route to her third weekly honor of the season. She averaged 17.3 points, 3.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game while committing a total of just three turnovers in 91 minutes played. Two wins came against OCCAC foes, including a line of 15 points, seven boards, seven assists and five steals versus Cuyahoga. Schaub was accurate from long range, knocking down 12-of-28 (43-percent) 3-pointers.
Schaub is averaging 9.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game in her first season at Edison State. The Lady Chargers are 15-2 overall and undefeated in the OCCAC.
