The Edison State women's basketball team avenged an earlier loss by defeating conference rival Lakeland Community College on the road Saturday 64-57.
Four Chargers were in double figures, led by Kailani Broyles (Massillon Washington HS) and Sarah Pothast (Wapakoneta HS) with 18 points each. Clair Schmitmeyer (Versailles HS) and Lauryn Gray (Piqua HS) each had 12 points as well.
Edison State is now 24-5 on the season overall and 11-4 in league play. Their final regular season game is next Saturday at home against Cuyahoga Community College at 1:00 p.m.
