The Edison State Community College women's basketball team improved to 6-2 in league play Saturday and 17-3 overall after defeating Columbus State Community College 76-58.
Clair Schmitmeyer (Versailles HS) led the team with 19 points. Kailani Broyles (Massillon Washington HS) scored 16 points and Sarah Pothast (Wapakoneta HS) had 15. Kennadie Reese (Jackson Center HS) pulled down 11 rebounds.
The Lady Chargers will return to action on Sunday, February 3rd as they travel to Lakeland Community College for another conference matchup.
