The Edison State Community College women's basketball team dropped an 84-64 decision Wednesday night at home in a conference matchup against Owens Community College.
Clair Schmitmeyer (Versailles HS) led the Chargers with 24 points. Kailani Broyles (Massillon Washington HS) added 13 points as well.
The Chargers fall to 14-3 on the season and 4-2 in OCCAC play. The team will return to conference action on Saturday, January 26 as they travel to Cuyahoga Community College.
