Lady Chargers Lose Close Game to Tri-C

The Edison State Community College women's basketball team was defeated by Cuyahoga Community College on Saturday afternoon 67-62.
Riley Culver (Wapakoneta HS) had an outstanding game to lead the team with 24 points and 17 rebounds. Lauren Monnin (Versailles HS) contributed 13 points and Jessie Crowell (Covington HS) scored 11 as well for Edison State.
The Lady Chargers are now 17-3 on the season and 3-3 in their conference. The team will return to their home court Wednesday night for another conference matchup with Columbus State Community College at 5:30 p.m.
