Kadel Named OCCAC Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference has named Edison State Community College freshman Abigail Kadel (Miami East HS) the OCCAC Softball Position Player of the Week for March 31, 2025.

Kadel and the Lady Chargers went 6-0 on the week. The second baseman rattled off 12 hits, including two doubles and four home runs, in 16 at-bats. She was directly responsible for 25 runs, scoring 13 and driving in a dozen more. Her on-base percentage ballooned to .818 for the week after also drawing six walks.

The Lady Chargers are currently 10-8 overall and 5-3 in the conference.
