The number 16 nationally-ranked Edison State men's basketball team earned a 75-67 win on a sophomore day over number 14 Cuyahoga Community College in conference action.
The Chargers were led in scoring by Lamine Komara (Whetstone HS) with 17 points. Also in double figures were Dakota Prichard (Spencerville HS) with 14 points, Roman Morgan (San Antonio, Texas) with 14 points and Lacey Watson (Davenport North HS) with 13 points.
The Chargers improve to 25-5 and 12-4 in conference play. With this win, the Chargers finished the regular season with a perfect 18-0 record at home this year and have had the most number of wins in a season in the program's history.
The team earned the 2nd seed in the postseason district tournament and will be back in action on Friday, March 8, against Lakeland Community College at Ohio Christian University at 7:00 p.m.
