Charger Men Fall Short to No. 19 Cuyahoga

The number 20 nationally-ranked Edison State Community College men's basketball team suffered a 59-56 loss on the road to Number 19 ranked Cuyahoga Community College on a last-second 3-pointer with 4.5 seconds on the clock.

The Chargers were led in scoring by Lacey Watson (Davenport North HS) who finished with 18 points. Also in double figures were Lamine Komara (Whetstone HS) with 11 points, and Jaedyn Carter (Columbus South HS) with 10 points.

The Chargers drop to 15-4 on the season and 4-3 in conference play. The team is back in action at home Wednesday against conference rival Sinclair at 7:30 p.m.
