The Edison State men fell short on the road at Sinclair Community College 84-80. The Chargers led most of the game, but some crucial mistakes down the stretch cost them to come up short in the final seconds.
The Chargers were led by Lamine Komara (Whetstone HS) with 23. Also In double figures were Lacey Watson (Davenport North HS) with 20, Dakota Prichard (Spencerville HS) with 13, and Jaedyn Carter (Columbus South HS) with 10.
The Chargers are now 6-2 overall and 0-2 in the conference. The team looks to bounce back on Saturday as they host Bryant and Stratton for another conference battle at 3:00 p.m.
