Charger Men Defeat Clark State on the Road

The Edison State Men's basketball team won on the road at Clark State Community College Wednesday evening 77-49.
The Chargers led 31-12 at the intermission putting forth their best defensive half of the year. The Chargers, however, were not able to duplicate that effort in the second half giving up 37 points to the Eagles in the second period. This is the Chargers second road win in a row and they are now 13-10 on the season.
Dae'Shawn Jackson (Springfield HS) scored 23 points on the night. Hadith Tiggs (Wayne HS) scored 20 points while Zach Ledbetter (Vandalia Butler HS) added 15 points for the Chargers.
The Chargers will be on the road Saturday afternoon to take on Lakeland Community College at 3:00 p.m.
