Charger Men Defeated by LCCC
The Edison State men’s basketball team fell at home Wednesday night 76-59 to Lorain County Community College.
The Edison State men's basketball team fall at home tonight 76-59 to Lorain County Community College. The Chargers took an 11 point lead into the locker room at the intermission and held their opponent to just 25 first half points 36-25. But with eight minutes left in the game, the Commodores had taken the lead.
"They hit their shots and we didn't. They rebounded and we didn't. Sometimes it's as simple as that," commented Coach Hickman. Referring to the second half of play where they were out-rebounded 55-36 and only connected on 3 of 17 from the arc.
Hadith Tiggs (Wayne HS) had 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists on the night while Christopher Landrum, II (Troy Christian HS) provided the Chargers with 15 points.
The Chargers are now 11-9 on the season. The Chargers will host Cuyahoga County Community College at home on Saturday, February 4th at 3:00 p.m.
