The Chargers wasted no time tonight taking the floor and setting the tone early. The Lakers came out in zone-defense and the Chargers were red hot from the perimeter. An early 24-6 lead forced two Laker timeouts. Edison State extended the lead to 55-31 at the half.
The Lakers got hot in the second half with several deep 3s of their own pulling the Charger lead to under 20 on two occasions. But in the end, it was the more disciplined play of the Edison State team down the stretch that pushed the lead out of reach.
