Charger Men Lose on the Road
Edison State Community College falls short for their first loss of the season.
The Edison State Community College Chargers took their first loss of the season on the road at Wright State Lake Campus.
After the first ten minutes of play and back and forth scoring, the Lakers took a 31-27 lead and never trailed again. "We played a step behind tonight on the defensive end allowing way too much dribble penetration," commented Coach Hickman.
The Chargers ended the half down 12 points and couldn't seem to hit the needed shots in the second period to make up the difference.
Edison State falls short for their first loss 87-74. This now makes the Chargers 5-1 on the season. Two Chargers ended the evening with double-digit scoring as DeAnthony Griffin scored 19 and Dae'Shawn Jackson 14 points.
The Chargers will travel to Cuyahoga Community College on Saturday, December 10th for their next contest and first conference match-up of the season at 3:00 p.m.
