Four student-athletes have committed to joining the Edison State Community College baseball team beginning in the spring of 2021.
"We're excited to welcome these guys to an already talented recruiting class in 2021," said Edison State Head Baseball Coach Tyler Koch.
Alex Joynes, a right-handed pitcher from Vandalia-Butler High School, is among the four joining the Charger baseball team.
"Alex comes to us from a very reputable program. He has a strong arm and is very athletic. He has been taught well and should make an immediate impact for us next season."
Also joining the Chargers in the fall of 2020 is Kevin Bellamy, a right-handed pitcher/first baseman from Beavercreek High School.
"Kevin had a great summer and really fine-tuned his skills while playing for the Miami Valley Prospects. He has a lot of pop at the plate and is a very consistent pitcher."
Joining the team from St. Henry District High School in Kentucky is Michael Tregasser.
"Michael is an excellent hitter with good power to all fields. We are very happy to have Michael on the team!"
Jacob Francis will round out the new players for the 2020 spring season, transferring in from Cincinnati Christian University, which recently closed its doors. Jacob is a right-handed pitcher/infielder from Jackson Center High School.
"Jacob is a hard-throwing big kid with a lot of tools. We are excited to have Jacob join our spring roster!"
