Edison State baseball opened up their OCCAC conference play with Sinclair Community College on Saturday, April 8. Sinclair came in ranked #5 in the nation.
Game one saw Edison State fall behind early with poor defense giving Sinclair 3 unearned runs, but rally late in the game to tie it before Sinclair was able to produce a bloop two-out rbi single to go ahead.
Edison was able to put two runners on in the bottom half only to fall short. Offensively, Dustin Parsons, Brandt Cronebach, and Samuel Nieves led the Chargers. On the hill, Jeffrey Mefford, Jr., Nick Gray, and William Wells did a nice job but walks continued to plague the staff.
