Game one went to Edison State by a score of 8-3 behind the strong outing turned in by freshman LHP Tanner Lee. Lee threw a complete game scattering 8 hits and walking none. The Chargers played a very clean game defensively as well.
At the plate, Alex Murphy and Brandt Cronebach each had two hits, with Keith Olmo adding an RBI single. Sophomore Brian Jones, II also got in on the action entering the game as a defensive replacement and recorded a hit in his first AB of the season.
