On Wednesday, the Edison State Women's Volleyball team defeated the Columbus State Cougars in 5 sets with scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-15, 21-25, and 15-12.
Camille Odle (Lehman High School) led the team in digs contributing 20, along with 3 aces. Erin Metz (Jackson Center High School) led the Chargers in hitting contributing 13 kills, 10 digs, and 4 blocks. Noel Ufferman (Fairbanks High School) had a career high of 40 assists for the evening.
THe Edison State women's volleyball team is now 9-3 on the season and 3-1 in the OCCAC. The Lady Chargers will return to their home court next Wednesday, September 20 at 6 p.m. to take on Owens Community College in a conference match up.
