Bio
Coach McMahon returns to the helm for his tenth season as the Lady Chargers Head Coach, and sixteenth year at Edison State. The 2023-2024 season will be Coach McMahon's 40th year of coaching.
Coach McMahon came to Edison State in 2002 as an Assistant Coach under Head Coach Kim Rank. Where they compiled a 78-38 record. In 2007, the program made it to their first ever Nationals Tournament.
In 2014, Coach McMahon came back to Edison State to take over the program. Since his return, McMahon has spent the past decade assembling high-caliber teams who have been making the District tournament on a regular basis. In 2017-2018, his team made it to the District I Semi-Finals with a 24-6 record. Then in 2020 and 2022, McMahon led the Lady Chargers to a OCCAC Conference Title. In 2022, the team advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament.
Coach McMahon, enjoys coaching at Edison State, he has coached many great student-athletes who are great ladies on and off the court. He would like to thank Coach Rank for giving him the opportunity and mentorship. He would, also like to thank two of his long time Assistant Coaches, Doug Martin and Brent New. These two individuals helped build the program to where it is today.
Tim resides in Sidney with his wife Patty, they are parents of two grown children and four grandchildren.
