Hughes Named OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) has named Edison State Community College freshman Allison Hughes (Parkway HS) OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week for January 15-21, 2024. 

Hughes has now been honored by the conference in three straight months. She was dominant in an 81-59 victory over Owens, nearly matching her 22 points with 18 rebounds (11 offensive!). The freshman forward added two assists and two blocks alongside zero turnovers in 28 minutes played. 

The Lady Chargers are currently 16-3 overall and 5-0 in the conference.
