The Edison State Lady Chargers dropped a tough 70-66 loss at home on Saturday against Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C).
The game was tied with 40 seconds left, but Darian Carter of Tri-C hit a 3 pointer that proved to be the game-winner with 19 seconds left.
Edison State falls to 5-5 in league play and 14-7 overall. Tri-C improves to 16-5.
Sydney Miller (Indian Lake HS) led the Chargers with 16 points. Riley Culver (Wapakoneta HS) had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Brooke Hickey (Riverside HS) and Carly Buzzard (Wapakoneta HS) both had 12 points, and Buzzard collected 10 rebounds.
The Chargers will return to action on the road Tuesday, February 7th to take on OSU-Mansfield at 5:30 p.m.
