Edison State secured the victory thanks to 13 runs in the first inning. The rally was led by singles by Alexis Romine, Camille Odle, Maddy Collier, and Tori Smith, an error on a ball put in play by Sophia Mueller and Mackenzie Smith, by Mueller, and a groundout by Wendy Hawk.
The Lady Chargers got things moving in the first inning. Romine drove in one when she singled.
Collier earned the win for Edison State, surrendering two runs on four hits over three innings, walking one. Maddie White threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Edison State saw the ball well, racking up 19 hits in the game. Camille Odle, Alexis Romine, Adrianna Hicks, Maddy Collier, Rayna Brownlee, and Tori Smith all managed multiple hits for Edison State. Collier, Hicks, Romine, and Odle each managed three hits to lead the Chargers.
