Edison State notched four runs in the third inning. Rayna Brownlee and Adrianna Hicks all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Tori Smith was the winning pitcher for Edison State. She allowed four hits and two runs over four and a third innings, striking out one and walking zero. Maddy Collier threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Shelby Raby took the loss for Wilmington College. She lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing nine hits and ten runs.
Edison State tallied nine hits on the day. Alexis Romine, Adrianna Hicks, and Hallie Snyder each managed multiple hits for Edison State. Snyder, Hicks, and Romine each collected two hits to lead the Lady Chargers.
