The Edison State men's basketball team was victorious over visiting Hocking College Wednesday evening 112-72 in the Charger Gymnasium.
The Chargers took the floor with great energy and emotion Wednesday evening and took a commanding lead from the start and sported a 53-25 intermission advantage. The team had great ball movement with 21 team assists and a 38-25 rebounding advantage that summed up the evening accurately as the Chargers coasted to a 112-72 win.
Darryl Robinson (Bowsher HS), who missed the first encounter with Hocking due to a back injury, led all scorers this evening with 26 points followed by JaBryel Reed (Clark Montessori HS) with 18 points, Hadith Tiggs (Wayne HS) with 16 points, Jacob Rogan (Bellefontaine HS) with 15 and Danny Lee Corbett (Briggs HS) with 12 points.
The 16-10 Chargers return to league action Saturday as they travel to Sinclair Community College at 3:00 pm.
