Charger Men Receive NJCAA Top 20 National Ranking After Going 13-2
The Edison State Community College men’s basketball team received national recognition this past week by being voted 19th in the nation in the latest NJCAA polls.

The Chargers took the floor again Friday night to win their 13th game of the season defeating the Barons of OSU Lima 103-58.
"It's rewarding to see how much our team is improving after only a narrow victory in our first outing in Lima. Our guys are playing together and are beginning to see what we can accomplish if we do it collectively," commented coach Hickman. The Chargers chalked up 25 team assists on the evening.
Darryl Robinson (Toledo Bowsher HS) scored 18 points for the Chargers this evening and Hadith Tiggs (Wayne HS) closely followed with 17 points, but also added 6 boards and 5 assists to his efforts. Zach Ledbetter (Vandalia Butler HS) and James Richardson, Jr. (Beechcroft HS) each added 13 while JaBryel Reed (Clark Montessori HS) and Jalen Elliott (Toledo Bowsher HS) added 12 and 10 points respectively. Caleb Maggard (Oak Hill HS) produced an impressive 9 rebounds this evening while 8 boards came from point guard Danny Lee Corbett (Briggs HS).
Edison State moves to 13-2 and a #19 Divison II National ranking going into Christmas Break. The Chargers return to action on January 5th as they travel to OSU-Mansfield at 7:30 p.m.
