Chargers Fall Short at Home 97-94
The Edison State Community College men’s basketball team took their second loss of the year falling 97-94 to the undefeated Commodores of Lorain County Community College.
The Edison State Community College men's basketball team took their second loss of the year falling 97-94 to the undefeated Commodores of Lorain County Community College. After a 7-0 start, the Chargers fall short by 2 points and 3 points respectively.
"I am proud of how hard our young men battle, but we still struggle at times playing smart and together. This will come in time," Coach Hickman commented.
The Chargers trailed most of the way and as much as 14 at one point. Their late rally fell short as Dakota Prichard missed a game-tying 3-point attempt at the buzzer.
Hadith Tiggs (Wayne HS) led in the scoring column with 21 points and also added 7 rebounds to the game. Darryl Robinson (Toledo Bowsher HS) added 16, Jacob Rogan (Bellefontaine HS) scored 14, and Dakota Prichard (Spencerville HS) earned 10 points.
Edison State moves to 7-2 on the year. Next up, the Chargers will travel at Cedarville University Tuesday night to play at 9:00 p.m.
