The Chargers took a narrow 8 point lead into intermission. The second period was much like the first as the Chargers would increase their lead by 20 plus then rushed passes and shots would allow the Patriots to remain within striking distance.
"Sometimes young teams will take a step or two backward as they are trying to find themselves. We will be fine," commented coach Hickman.
Darryl Robinson (Bowsher HS) led in the scoring column tonight with 18 points. Jalen Elliott (Bowsher HS) and Hadith Tiggs (Wayne HS) added 13 and 10 respectively.
