After only an eight-point intermission lead, the Chargers came out firing on all cylinders to start the second half. After the first five minutes of the half, the Chargers had extended their lead to 22 and never looked back.
"Our second-half shooting percentage was very good," commented coach Hickman.
The chargers were 10 of 20 from behind the arc during that second half (50%) and 16 of 35 for the game.
Jalen Elliott (Bowsher HS) led in the scoring column with 26 points, going 11 of 18 from the field including 4 of 8 from behind the arc. Thirteen Chargers in all put points on the board this evening and accumulated a total of 20 assists, 5 of which came from Danny Lee Corbett (Briggs HS).
Edison State moves to 3-0 to start the 2017-18 campaign. Next up for the Chargers will be OSU–Mansfield at home on Saturday, November 11 at 3:00 pm.
