Charger Men Earn Post-Season Awards

Recently finishing out their season with tournament action, three Edison State Community College men's basketball players have been named recipients of post-season awards from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) for the 2016-17 season.
Christopher Landrum, II of Boston, Mass., has been named to the OCCAC All-Defensive Team. A 6-foot-1-inch sophomore guard, Landrum averaged 9.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per game in conference action.
Dae'Shawn Jackson of Springfield, Ohio, and Hadith Tiggs of Huber Heights, Ohio, were both named to the All-OCCAC Honorable Mention team. Jackson, a 6-foot-1-inch sophomore guard, averaged 16.4 points, 6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game in conference action. Tiggs, a 6-foot-2-inch guard, averaged 15.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game in conference matchups.
The men's basketball team finished 17-14 overall and 4-12 in their conference.
