The Edison State Men's Basketball Team exploded Saturday afternoon with a big win over Sinclair Community College 79-54.
"Our guys have been very close to upsetting some very good teams as of late, but falling a few points short. This win is a big confidence boost for our young men. Their team play continues to improve every game," said coach Hickman.
The Chargers took a 9 point lead into the locker room at intermission. "We talked at the half about how important the first 5 minutes of the 2nd period was and how the very talented Sinclair team was preparing to take the floor. I was very proud of how our guys responded to the challenge," said Hickman.
Everything seemed to go the Chargers way in the second half as their lead continued to grow. This game gave Edison State their 17th win on the season.
