The Edison State men's basketball team lost its 3rd road trip game to Lorain County Community College Wednesday evening 82-58.
The Chargers took an early 17-11 lead but trailed by 3-points at the intermission 36-33. The Chargers struggled from the perimeter in the second half shooting 36% from the field and only 13% from the 3 point arc. "The arctic blast followed us from the bus to the gym," coach Hickman commented.
The chargers kept the game within single digits until the final minutes of play as foul trouble which haunted the Chargers early, caught up to them.
Dae'Shawn Jackson of Springfield led in scoring with 15 points, while DeAnthony Griffin of Linden McKinley had 14 points, and Brian Hall of Adena High School added 10.
The now 5-3 Chargers will come home to host Ohio State University–Mansfield on Friday, December 16th for their next contest at 7:30 p.m.
