Edison State trailed from the very beginning and was down by double digits in the second half. On several occasions it looked as though the Harriers of Miami U.–Hamilton would pull away for good, but the Chargers would never give up the fight and pulled the score close and tied it on two occasions.
Down 75 to 74 the Chargers pushed the ball to mid court and called a time out with 2.6 seconds left to play. The play went to Dae'Shawn Jackson who hit a 3–point basket as time expired to give the Chargers their first lead of the game and their third victory of the season.
The Chargers had four players in double–digit scoring. Dae'Shawn Jackson led in that category with 28 points, followed by DeAnthony Griffin with 12 points, while A.J. Hickman and Brian Hall added 11 points each.
Edison State will travel to Cedarville University for their next match-up on Wednesday, November 16 at 9:00 p.m.
