The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) has named Edison State Community College freshman Luke Brockman (Newport Central Catholic HS) the OCCAC Baseball Position Player of the Week for March 13–19, 2023.

Brockman racked up seven RBIs in a doubleheader sweep over Terra State. He tacked on two runs scored and a stolen base in game two. Brockman drove in four runs to start the day before adding three more RBIs in the second contest.

The Chargers are currently 6-7 overall.
