Edison State Players Carman and Cronebach commit to 4 year colleges
Drake Carman commits to Cincinnati Christian University and Brandt Cronebach commits to The Limestone University of South Carolina for the upcoming 2018 season.
Edison State Baseball is pleased to announce that sophomores Brandt Cronebach and Drake Carman have committed to 4-year schools for the upcoming 2018 season.
Drake Carman has signed with Cincinnati Christian University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Carman graduated from Lebanon High School and came to Edison State Community College in 2016. "Drake has really worked his way into a solid infield guy. He had limited time his freshman year and returned to be an everyday lineup guy," said Edison State head baseball coach Scott Jones. "He has great character and a strong work ethic and he will do well at Cincinnati Christian University."
Brandt Cronebach has signed with The Limestone University in South Carolina. The Limestone University baseball program competes as Division II members of the National College Athletic Association (NCAA). Cronebach will be the ninth Edison State baseball player in the last three seasons to advance his career beyond the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Coach Jones comments, "Brandt will do well wherever he goes. He made some big changes to his swing coming in. He trusted in the process and things really worked out for him."
"Both boys have a good work ethic and are great competitors. I wish them the best of luck in their careers," said Jones.
