The Edison State Community College Baseball program was fortunate to have guest speaker and demonstrator, Chris Sexton on campus Saturday, October 21. Sexton is a former MLB player (Colorado Rockies/Cincinnati Reds) and a Miami of Ohio Hall of Famer.
Sexton addressed the team about his career and the things it takes to make it in this game. He also provided instruction on hitting, infield play, and outfield.
"We were very lucky to have Chris drive up and take time out his schedule to talk and teach our players," said Scott Jones, Edison State Head Baseball Coach. "Having played with Chris in college, I can tell you that he is a first-class person and a top of the line player. It was really great for our guys to hear what he had to say and know that even players of his caliber have adversity that they have to overcome."
