The Edison State Community College baseball program is proud to announce the signing of Fairborn High School standout LHP/1B Ryan Profitt.
Profitt was recently named First Team All–Conference, Player of the Year in GWOC South, First team All-GWOC, First Team All-Area, and has been asked to play in the All-Ohio Mizuno game.
"Ryan is a great get for our program," said Edison State Head Coach Scott Jones. "He is an outstanding pitcher that was high on our list."
"We saw Ryan last summer at Miami Valley Prospects Showcase which is how we discovered current LHP Marcus Johnson. "Ryan has the ability to be a two-way player which is rare. We feel Ryan has tremendous upside and look forward to getting him here in the fall," added Jones.
"He will be the second player that we have taken out of Fairborn, the first being Matt Peterangelo which we are very happy with."
