Edison State Sweeps Clark State to Qualify for Sub-Districts
The Chargers swept the Clark State Eagles with a 7-2 fourth game final.
In game four, starting pitcher Nick Gray picked up the W after going four 2/3 innings giving up no hits but allowing 2 runs. The game was shortened due to player ejection on Clark State. Edison State was declared the winner after being up 7-2. This completed a four-game sweep and saw Edison State earn a berth into the sub-district tournament.

The Chargers will begin NJCAA Region XII Division II baseball sub-district tournament action this Friday, May 12th at Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus. Their opponent will be Lakeland Community College and the game starts at 11:00 a.m.
If the Chargers win, they will play in the tournament championship game at 5:00 p.m. vs. the winner of the Cuyahoga CC and Vincennes University game that is played at 2:00 p.m. All games will be held at the same location.
