Twenty-Four Student-Athletes Named to OCCAC All-Academic Team
Twenty-four student-athletes from Edison State Community College have received Academic All-Conference honors from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference for the spring 2025 semester. To qualify, a student-athlete must have completed at least 12 credit hours with a 3.30 GPA.

"I'm proud of these student-athletes," said Edison State Athletics Director Justin McCulla. "These dedicated students have not only excelled in their respective sports but have also maintained outstanding academic records. They are the true definition of being a Charger and know that hard work pays off."
Representing the men's basketball team in academic excellence is Jayden Jones (4.0), Marion.
From the women's basketball team, Jenna Dirksen, Versailles; Jordan Smith, Westerville; Maisie Strawser, Lima; Abby Yukon, Christiansburg; and Emma Yukon (4.0), Christiansburg, earned honors.
Brooklyn Bourne (4.0), Celina; Madyson Buckingham (4.0), Ansonia; Marissa Corner, Sidney; Isabella Hall, New Paris; Emma Luedeke, New Knoxville; Alana Pernell, Lima; and Haley Smith (4.0), Arcanum, represent the volleyball team in academic excellence.
Seven members of the baseball team earned honors: Jaydon Benson (4.0), Centerville; Eli Donnan, Troy; Caleb Lambdin (4.0), Cincinnati; Jentsen Musgrove, Springboro; Nate Roberts, Dayton; Parker Shannon (4.0), Beavercreek; and Zach Walsh (4.0), Beavercreek.
Kayla Day, Mechanicsburg; Jenna Dirksen, Versailles; Erika Gostomsky (4.0), Covington; Morgan Rodgers (4.0), Tipp City; and Jaycee Taylor (4.0), Hamilton, represent the softball team in academic excellence.
"I am so thrilled that we have such a committed group of student-athletes," McCulla said. "Their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to both athletics and academics embody the essence of Edison State. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to their continued success both in the classroom and on the field or court."
