Eighteen Student-Athletes Named to OCCAC All-Academic Team
Eighteen student-athletes from Edison State Community College have received Academic All-Conference honors from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) for the Spring 2023 semester. To qualify, a student-athlete must have completed at least 12 credit hours with a 3.30 GPA.

The baseball team is represented in academic excellence by Jared Billington, Tipp City; Luke Brockman, Southgate, Kentucky; Zayne Centi, Pembroke Pines, Florida; Cameron Hendricks, Vandalia; Garrett Kelly, Springfield; Austin Montz, Centerville; and Andrew Yeary, Fairborn.
Seven members of the softball team earned honors: Alison Cox, North Lewisburg; Hanna DeLong, Mechanicsburg; Allie Dodge, Huber Heights; Audrey Fyffe, Springfield; Kyli Gainer, Huber Heights; Kaela May, Tipp City; and Savannah Wead, Tipp City.
Representing the men's basketball team in academic excellence is Devonte Curry, Columbus (4.0 GPA).
Members of the women's basketball team earning honors include Paxton Hunley, Conover, and Taj Pewett, Cincinnati.
The volleyball team is represented in academic excellence by Taylor Lessing, Sidney.
Edison State Community College is one of 13 participating members of the OCCAC. The College also competes in Region XII as a Division II member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) in men's baseball and women's softball, men's and women's basketball, and women's volleyball.
